Childbirth & Labor class (3 hrs)- recommended 32 -34 wks (VIRTUAL)

This private class is designed to ease your mind and increase your knowledge base. This class is uniquely focused on what matters most to you: YOUR goals and YOUR concerns. As each topic is introduced, you will have the opportunity to dig as deep as you like. The goal is to prepare you for the birth of your baby/babies, and empower you with the knowledge and choices to have the experience you desire!

We will cover an array of topics including:

• Ways that labor can start

• When to go to the hospital

• Timing contractions

• The stages of labor: how it progresses and what to expect at each stage

• Comforting techniques for easing discomfort

• Positions/movements to facilitate progress, based on where baby is in the pelvis (with or without an epidural)

• Preparing partners to support with labor (with their zone of comfort)

• Medical interventions & making informed choices
