Hi! I’m Nancy (she/her), a postpartum doula and member of the Boston Area Doulas admin team. I am a certified Postpartum Doula and Infant Massage Instructor and love all things baby! After raising three (now grown) children of my own, I understand the challenges caregivers face with their babies and love to ease the struggles of the first year through empowering moms and caregivers. I like to focus on the mental, physical and social health of the parents as they assimilate their child into their lives.

Prior to being a doula, my professional career includes 30 years in Human Resources, and I graduated with a M.Ed. in Health Promotion and a B.S. in Human Development, both from Vanderbilt University.

Outside of doula work, I love to exercise - running and biking and have been a Pan Mass Challenge rider for 15 years.

Advice to new or expecting parents: It’s ok to ask for help!

Check out what Nancy’s families said about her: “Nancy is extremely competent– she knows how to hold my daughter, give her a bath, change a diaper, and soothe her. She has such an easy disposition, and isn’t trying to push one agenda. My husband is a pediatrician, and some people can find that intimidating but it worked well for our family to work with Nancy. She was really flexible– we would go on walks together with the baby, she helped me sort laundry, whatever I needed support with. I would highly recommend her!”

Current work with clients:

  • Postpartum support

  • Helping families find the best fit doula
