Hi, I’m Cristina, a postpartum/infant care doula on the Boston Area Doulas team. Prior to becoming a postpartum doula, I was an infant teacher at multiple daycares, ran a home daycare, and nannied for familes. I’ve always been the "supporter" in my family, channeling my patience, reliability and calming energy. After having two kids of my own, I realized that parents could really use support during the postpartum transition period. I wanted to be a part of that process to help make things go more smoothly.

My advice to expecting or new parents: Be kind to yourself and be open to support.

Outside of my doula work, I enjoy taking trips to the mountains.

Childhood aspirations: Foster Parent

Check out what one of Cristina’s families said about her:

“Cristina genuinely cares for people. The calmness of her is really important. She has that calming aura, like ‘let’s figure this out’. She supported our daughter and also us as parents. She communicates way ahead of time, and is proactive. She keeps us in the loop about how my daughter is doing, “she did this, does she do this with you as well?” -J
